Does the published cumulative demand data represent
a) all pending 485 cases that include primary applicants and their dependents
OR
b) all pending 485 cases that include primary applicants only?
If say, the demand data for EB3, till 2004 says 35,000 - does this mean there are a total of 35,000 pending cases in total OR does this represent primary applicants only?
If it represents primary applicants only, what is the multiplication factor we need to use to get an approximate number for total pending 485 cases?

Guys, I could use some suggestions here. I had filed for my and wife's EAD on July 30th. My wife wasn't working and my EAD is valid until mid-November. However recently my wife got a job offer and will starting work next week. Her EAD actually expires 15th Oct. Reading through posts it seems that the chances of her receiving EAD approval within 75 days is highly unlikely. Can anyone give suggestions on what is the best course of action to follow to ensure she doesn't have to take a break soon after joining?

I had applied on July 19th to Nebraska. My I-140 was approved from TX.
Today I received transfer notice WAC...., mentioning that they have transferred my case to TX Service center.
The receipt date is of Sep 14th, Notice date of Sep 17th'2007.
Does it mean I lost the original filing receipt date of July 20th'2007.

I'm currently moving back to Northern Idaho and am trying to finally get my foot in the door as a photographer. Basically I've emailed some companies asking about the need for a part/full time photographer. Of course, they are all interested in sample shots (not a problem) and rates :confused:. I don't know what to say on the rates part. I've searched through the old threads, but didn't see any. Roughly, what is a normal rate? Keep in mind It's not a huge city (pop. 32,000,not including surrounding areas).

Hello All,
As per the latest regulations, the employer has to pay for all the labor application cost. My employer has agreed to do my green card, but are little hesitant to pay the cost (due to budget constraint). What legal options/adjustments can I make with my employer so that the cost process is not delayed? Thanks in advance.

I am starting my employment based GC process. My employer is going to file for my labour certificate (LC) thru PERM soon.
However, I want to know what happens if you Labour Application is not approved by USCIS?
like - Can you then apply for Labour thru another employer? or start ur Green Card process thru another employer.
- Can you get H1 extension after 6 year period is complete?
Kindly advice.

We are applying for my husband's H4 extension now. ( My new H1b extension was approved only till Sept 25, 2009 based on the SOW( client contract) rather than 3 years)So he would be able to get his extention same as me Sept 25, 2009.
We have also applied for my husband's H1b this year. Hopefully, if his H1b is approved
1. Does he has to go outside US to get his visa stamped to start working from Oct 1, as there is no status for him from Sept 26 through Sept 30 ( 5 days)
2. If we apply for his H4 extension along with my H1b extension during early Sept and he will remain in status as the Case will be pending, Does it allow him to start working on H1b without needing to stamp?
